How maths practice works here
- Numbers are shown as objects, dots, ten frames and number lines, so children see what a number means, not just its digits.
- Questions are read aloud, so a child who is still learning to read can still do the maths.
- A wrong answer is shown calmly, never in red, and the next question is a fresh start.
