Get the Android app

Phonics & Number Den is being tested on Google Play before it opens to everyone. To get it now, join the test in three steps.

Reception Level 1: a letter lesson for each of s, a, t, p, i, n, m and d, with review games in between.

Three steps

  1. 1Join the test group

Open the group and tap Join group, using the Google account that is on your Android phone or tablet.

    Open the test group

  2. 2Become a tester

On that phone or tablet, open the test page and tap Become a tester.

    Open the test page

  3. 3Install the app

Install Phonics & Number Den from Google Play. Once you are a tester, the test page links to it. Please stay in the test for at least two weeks: Google needs that before the app can open to everyone.

If Google Play says the app is not available yet, Google is still checking it. Please try again in a few days.

Good to know

  • It is free, with no adverts, and it works offline: every level, voice clip and picture is built in.
  • Android now; iPhone and iPad later.
  • The test group shows us your email address, and nothing about your child. The privacy notice explains more.
